SOURCES
1 The composer of "As The Clouds Drift By" is only given as "Brodsky" on the various 7" releases but his / her full name was included in the Library of Congress Copyright Office registration of the song: http://archive.org/details/catalogofco1966320512libr.
A Library of Congress Copyright Office registration for the song "Be My Best Friend" from 1972 is as follows:
BE MY BEST FRIEND; w & m Sandra Brodsky, a.k.a. Sandy Kane. 1 p. © Sandy Brodsky, a.k.a. Sandy Kane; 30Dec71; EU3 04601.
So is this the same "Sandy Brodsky" as the composer of "As The Clouds Drift By"? It seems very likely but I've not been able to confirm it. If someone can help please email me at
2 Two websites described the acetate in 2009, a question posted by Charles Rigolosi himself on aolanswers.com and an article about his shop written by Carol Fletcher
