CURTIS KNIGHT

I have included this single in the "unconfirmed" -discography as these tracks have sometimes over the years been included among the tracks that do feature Hendrix. It is clear that the single does not have Jimi Hendrix playing on it but since it was speculated for a long time that he might have been involved it's listed here for informational and historical purposes - and not to provide any credibility to the theories that Jimi could be on it.

The catalog number of the single pre-dates the two RSVP Curtis Knight singles that Hendrix is known to have played on, the producer is not Ed Chalpin nor Jerry Simon like on other recordings featuring Hendrix and the single was released in April 1965.

The RSVP singles that do involve Hendrix were recorded October 1965 onwards and released in 1966 so this particular solo Curtis Knight single was recorded long before Hendrix joined Curtis Knight's band.
